Our school district has 2 high schools that are grade 8-12. Kwalikum Secondary has 650 students and Ballenas Secondary has a student population of 900. We have approximately 150 international students from 18 countries attending the 2 schools.

All students are placed in homestays. Our homestay program is self-managed. Approximate cost of homestay is 8000.00 CDN/year.

Qualicum School District is a public school district on the east coast of Vancouver Island. Our area features an exceptionally moderate climate. We are a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Our area is comprised of 2 oceanfront beach communities, Parksville and Qualicum Beach, with a total population of approximately 50,000 people. We are an exceptionally safe and welcoming community.
